My mom got us the car seat, so we can actually bring the baby home. We have yet to pull it out of the box, but thats on our to-do list...and in the next few weeks I will go get it installed. The car seat came with a full "travel system" (that stroller to the left) in which the seat snaps right into. So in addition to taking the baby home, we can actually take it out of the house again someday too.
Jeff's parents got us this beautiful cradle, so Baby Schneider actually does have a place to sleep when we come home.
Next week or so my mom and I are also planning a shopping trip, and at that point I will pick up some of the other things on our shopping list. Just wanted to make sure we didnt look like bad parents-to-be :) We are moving slowly, but I promise we are moving! And I am pretty sure that if Jeff and I forget to get something, our families will pick up the slack ... its the first baby on both sides so everyone is excited. (Sometimes we think they might even be more excited than we are!)
