Brooke ran her first mile! 1.06 miles, actually ... training for our 5k on 8/12. Total time was 14 minutes and 54 seconds.

MI Camp Week

Brooke continued her Fernwood / Zoe camp this week. Her day appears to have been awesome. She got ice cream, picked apples, and caught the biggest fish ever.

The rest of us didnt have that bad of a day either. Ryan spent a few hours at surf/beach camp while we enjoyed a nice breakfast in St Joe, followed by a few hours at the beach, and lunch back in St Joe. We also went out for ice cream at night ;)

We did have two deer sightings today. First we saw two doe. Later on we found a buck munching on some trees ;)

Sleepovers

Brooke has a camp at Fernwood this week, and was invited to spend a couple nights with Zoe. Things were going well ... she had noodles for dinner. And we got to face time her before bed. It was our first time, but I have a feeling there will be many more Facetimes to come!

While Brooke was at Zoe's last night for a sleepover ... Luke had a sleepover of his own. He slept in Ryans room in Brookes bed ... his first time in the "big boy bed"!

We've been putting it off forever and had to start the transition at some point :)

Surf Camp Day

After Ryan finished up his Surf Camp, we played at the beach. We have definitely been missing the beach!

Stopped off in St Joe for a little walk, a shark attack, and some fudge from Kilwins.

Boys Breakfast

Brooke is doing a camp at Fernwood, the boys get to hang with Mom and Dad at Greenbush's Clean Plate Club in Sawyer. They have a pinball machine, PAC MAN machine and golf game. All parties were satisfied.

Ice Queen

It may be summer outside, but Brooke seems to enjoy her time on the ice above almost all else. Working hard at perfecting her Gamma skills and practicing some new Delta skills mixed in.

Moana Tooth Cleaning

It's rough being a kid when you have to watch Moana while someone cleans your teeth ;)

Ryan's Last Day of Kindergarten

Ryan's school has a pretty cool last day - a show AND a festival for the kindergartners. What a great way to end the school year.

Tons of games! The kids and the families all had so much fun. Ryan did this sack race about 100 times.

Mrs Mulligan was such a great teacher. She will be missed.

They're On A Boat

Brooke and Ryan got to go on the Van Houtte's boat today. They took the kids tubing and everyone was shocked by Ryan's need for speed. Supposedly he wanted to faster and faster. Even the 7th grade boy sharing the tube wasn't able to handle the speeds Ryan wanted to go ;)
