It's been a long (and sometimes difficult) journey, but Brooke finally lost her last baby tooth. It clung on for weeks, just like they all have done. She had a routine dentist appointment yesterday and we had them remove it. Is was a surprising $53 for the topical numbing stuff ... but it pretty much had to be done. Next on the agenda? An orthodontist appointment to discuss braces!

Personality Type by Riddle

Tonight the kids journals had a riddle. How they answered it perfectly sums up their personalities.

Oldest (12): Very literal kid. Often has difficulty thinking out of the box. Over analyzes. Rules are meant to be followed.

She pondered aloud "blood and eggs" (what?) and then wrote "cake mix and food dye"

Middle kid (10): Confident and ever second guesses. Quick to react, rarely pauses to think, never checks his own work.

He laughed, shouted "this is easy" and wrote down "Apple"

Youngest Kid (7): Snarky and witty. Often doesn't finish his work because it's not worth his time. Cuts corners, doesn't believe in rules.

What does he do?
"Hey Google? What do you get when you mix red and yellow?"

Only one of the three got it right. Orange.

Hiking With Bodhi

We had nothing better to do and felt the need to get out of the house. Brooke is off quarantine, but the boys are still on it. We decided to hit the burbs and test out Bodhis walking legs. We went to Waterfall Glen, but we walked the wrong way to see the waterfall. Instead, we took a 2 mile hike along a pretty boring path. Bodhi actually loved it! The three kids kept crying about how hot and tired they were. Figures. aterfall Glenn
