He said

Luke negotiating for Easter candy...

"I will give you both Infinity dollars if you let me eat all the jelly beans"

Brooke & Ryan: ok!

Luke: But not today. I'll get it from moms purse tomorrow.

Indiana = Tablet Time

We left Nashville 4 hours ago. Luke has basically been complaining since then. He finally fell asleep. Big kids got to pull out their tablets and it's nice and quiet. 4 hours left. Let's see how it goes ;)

Highway!

Luke and I waiting in line while everyone else at
Waiting for the broadcast to begin
Buzz greets the crowd!
Waited in line and saw Buzz broadcast the Highway show! Brett Young and Raelynn showed up. Brought a huge box of candy to keep the kids happy. Luke slept through (almost) the whole thing ... being interviewed by Buzz, two celebrity appearances and a screaming crowd. Didn't wake up until we left.

Nashville Day 2

It was a rainy day... but we we in good spirits!
We started of at Rippy's for lunch

After Rippy's, we knew we were going to need something to keep the kids engaged at the next place. So, we went into a candy shop called Savannah's Candy Kitchen. We got a huge container of candy that kept the kids happy for quite a while.

Kids get treats,
Grownups get treats.
Our second stop was Honkey Tonk Central. It was a big place with huge open windows and balconies. This helped us find a place that wasnt too loud (both because of space and the windows) and watch out on the street instead of just watch in the bar.

We wrapped up the night at FGL House. Pretty quiet and good food. Everyone was exhausted. It was a long day!

Heading to Nashville!

Always a lot of smiles in the BEGINNING of a road trip

Luke decided to spend some car time practicing his name.

He's getting good!

While not totally on the way, we decided to drive though Champaign. Silly us, we thought the kids would be interested in
seeing University of Illinois. They were NOT. First, they thought we were almost in Nashville (we were NOT) and second... they complained and cried the whole time. Lesson learned.

This was our first time in Kentucky (though we just drove through). They were thrilled, obviously. Couldn't even get them to look up.

Well, about 9 hours later we enter Tennessee. Another hour till Nashville ;) They've been great the whole time (outside of the Champaign stop).

Finally made it! We stopped for dinner at The Pharmacy in Eash Nashville before heading to the hotel to crash.

End of Season: i9 Basketball

Ryan had a blast playing his first season of Basketball. Having Miles' dad as the coach and his buddy Miles on the team definitely helped with that!
