Donuts N' Ice Cream

Today was such a nice spring day, one that we've been waiting for for months.  So, we decided to take a nice walk for donuts this am.  The kids woke up stir-crazy and crabby, and we were hoping to turn their moods around.  Donuts quickly put a smile on their faces :)

We followed up the donuts with a trip to the park and let them run it off.  For sure they would be happy...

But, it was short lived.  Before we even got home the whining began.  We got into the house and they were just as crazy!  So, I popped them back into the stroller and we took a long walk to the grocery store.  Everyone was happy, and on the way home Ryan fell asleep.  After almost an hour nap in the stroller I figured we had to be good to go, but again, whining resumed.  We ate a late lunch and head BACK outside.  This time for a walk ... and ice cream.  That had to work, right?

It was our first ice cream of the season!  The kids were pretty excited.  They are now in good spirits, but they're still acting like caged animals.  I think the Spring Fever has officially hit.  Its gonna be a long few months :)
