| While not totally on the way, we decided to drive though Champaign. Silly us, we thought the kids would be interested in seeing University of Illinois. They were NOT. First, they thought we were almost in Nashville (we were NOT) and second... they complained and cried the whole time. Lesson learned. |
This was our first time in Kentucky (though we just drove through). They were thrilled, obviously. Couldn't even get them to look up.
Well, about 9 hours later we enter Tennessee. Another hour till Nashville ;) They've been great the whole time (outside of the Champaign stop).
Finally made it! We stopped for dinner at The Pharmacy in Eash Nashville before heading to the hotel to crash.
