First Lost Tooth!

We have been waiting and waiting and waiting. Many of Luke's classmates have already lost 4 (or more) teeth! When he's sitting on a virtual class I often hear tooth discussions, and then look to see his sad little face.

Today, it literally just fell out. It's been loose ... but there was no pulling or pushing or twisting. He said he moved his tongue and it just fell out! So, despite the fact he's a little late in the game, it was an easy process.

One big issue though. I realized last week that this was (finally) gonna happen. We have two tooth pillows in this house - a pink owl and a blue one that says "Ryan." Luke doesn't have one! I never even thought about it! So I ordered one last week. Yay! But it arrives NEXT WEEK (boo!).

Volleyball Tounament

Brooke has really been loving Volleyball. Her skills are improving and she's making some great friends and having a ton of fun. One of the best things about it is that she's been able to compete ... something that is not possible with trampoline (or many other sports!). Today she played at Top Flight Athletic Center in Elgin. On a "normal" day we'd probably be irritated with a weekend trip to the burbs, but given the current situation it feels more like a lucky opportunity.
