Every time I leave my phone unattended for a minute, either Brooke or Luke takes a selfie. Figured we'd end March with a selfie, since its pretty much explains everything.

Haircuts

It's nice to finally see their faces again. The process wasn't seamless - both walked away with cuts on their ears - but the outcome was still ok ;)

Independent Reading

Luke has begun reading most books on his own ... and we are amazed at the words he can read. The kid read "geometry" and so many others. It's so great to see him so interested and throwing himself into all books, not just a select few.

Midwest Shamrock Classic

This weekend was our first time in Kewanee, IL for the "Midwest Shamrock Classic." Held at a local high school, it was a bit different of a location and meet style that we have been seeing lately.

Brooke came in 1st in both events, and the medals were giant trophies. She was actually pretty excited to get something different than the typical medal.

Brothers

Luke took a fall on the ice during lessons and Ryan was big brother to the rescue. Luke refused to go back on the ice, so we went to watch Brooke.

One minute after we sat down, Brooke stopped skating. She showed her coach her skate and then came off the ice. Her skate is wrecked.

Great day, huh?

First Dive Meet

Brooke's first meet was great. The diving meet is quite different than what we are used to with trampoline, but she managed it all great :) On 1m she came in 3rd, and on 5m she came in 1st! She was really excited ... as she should be.

Brooke Basketball Team Ice Cream

Some of the team went out for ice cream after the game. Lots of smiles always seem to appear when you're eating ice cream!

Handstand Dive

Brooke has been working really hard at picking up some new dives. It really is fun to watch her grow!
