Little Sluggers Baseball Skills Class
The boys both did a class at Little Sluggers to work on some baseball skills prior to the baseball season. This will be Luke's first time playing on a baseball team and he'll be working on simple sklls like catching and throwing and batting. Ryan is working on strengthening his skills after a few years playing. Both really enjoyed their classes!

Daddy-Daughter Dance
Brooke and Dad dressed up fancy and hit up Audubon School for the Daddy-Daughter Dance. This was her last dance at Audubon. She spent the night doing what she has done every other time they went to this dance … she ditched Dad and ran around with her friends looking for snacks (and occasionally dancing).
Party Day
Ryan's class earned a "party day". He decided that means he should bring this 5ft long stuffed snake to school.

Cant Leave OH Without...
We needed to make a quick stop at Duck Donuts before we hit the road home ;)
The Seminaroti's clued us into Duck Donuts, and since then we are big fans. If we see one, we must stop!

Blaine Wilson Sportsfest - Columbus OH
We had our first trip to Columbus OH for the Blaine Wilson Sportsfest. It took over 6 hours to get there, and over 8 HOURS to get home because we hit bad weather. The kids didn't even seem to notice how long it took ... they were so wrapped up in their tablets. I certainly felt the length of the drive, but the weekend was overall an enjoyable one. Just wish we didn't have so many meets during bad weather situations.

He Said / She Said
Luke, wrapping arms tight around my neck at bedtime ...
"I love you so much I can't let you leave my room!"

Luke’s 1st Skating Lesson
He may be a pretty athletic kid, but skating is not coming naturally for him. He's been on the floor more than up and sweeping all the kids out that are near him. Glad we signed him up ... he's gonna need all the practice he can get!
