First Call From The School Nurse

Ryan collided with another kid at gym today and was sent to the school nurse with a giant goose egg on his temple. He seemed ok and they did not send him home (though the nurse told me if it had happened earlier in the day they would have). He made it 11 days of Kindergarten before an injury (unless you count the torn blisters all over his hands from the monkey bars ... Those started about day 3!)

The summer seems to have time to an end. The kids got lots of pool time in, with Luke and Brooke doing a lot of lounging ... and Ryan working on his amazing feat of the day.

 

 

Luke did take a minute out of his busy day to practice bags for a few minutes...

 

 

And we finished the evening with an ice cream play date with Devan and Shaan. It was a fun filled weekend and they squeezed out every ounce of fun they possibly could.

 

Labor Day Weekend Shenanigans

We had our friends (Lily & Gabe) to MI for the day. The kids swam until they could barely walk, snacked a ton, barely ate real food, and finished up the day watching the sunset and eating popsicles. It was a good day with some good friends!
