Attack of the Bee

Ryan got his first bee sting(s).

The same bee got him on the shoulder (through his shirt) and on his knuckle ... As he sat watching a friend play tennis in NB.

Poor little guy :(

This year we took just the older two to the Cubs game. Honestly, the little guy could have probably hung on longer than they did :)

Skinner North Tech Camp

Ryan finished up a week of Tech & Engineering camp today. The tech part was playing Minecraft, the engineering part was related to electricity and circuits.

He made Luke a card that lights up, a double circuit that lights up, an alarm that is super annoying, and a "knife" that uses a battery to heat a wire that cuts through styrofoam.

He appeared to have a great time, but still stressed that he's going to Audubon and not Skinner next year for kindergarten.

Roscoe Readers Camp

Last day of Roscoe Readers Camp where they read "Unusual Chickens For The Exceptional Poultry Farmer", went on a Lincoln library outing & a trip to see some real chickens that live in Roscoe Village!

Ice cream with Aunt Jean, while Luke took a snooze...

Best 4th Ever

Haley watched a Barbie movie with Ryan and Brooke - all cuddled up on an air mattress with a down comforter. They also stayed at the Wickhams until 9:15 pm.

On top of all that, Karen fed them pizza and ice cream at like 8pm.

They were in heaven.
