Pasta Dinner Night!

Looks like we've got a snowstorm. So, like your typical backwards family, we bundled up the kids and headed OUT for dinner. It was a great idea actually. Brooke got to play in the snow and didnt seem to notice the whipping winds or chilly temps. Both kids got to pig out on some yummy pasta. Mom had a glass of wine. Everyone was happy!

Please, Don't Let It Be True!

I think Brooke may be trying to give up her afternoon nap. Personally, I think she still needs it. She is generally yawning before nap, and cranky (and occasionally downright nasty) when over tired. More than her, I know I need naptime. It's my chance to get some work done, or get dinner started, or get a few phone calls in. That silence is really important to me. I'm not ready for a napless day! I hope this is just a phase and she's back to napping soon ... but I'm not feeling too optimistic about it.

Down The Stairs: 15 Months

Height: 30.5 inches

Weight: 26 lbs

Ryan is cruising down the stairs, all by himself. Unfortunately he thinks everything is a race, so he generally makes everyone nervous with his speed and general lack of fear, but he seems to be pretty capable of handling himself.

He also is doing a great job of drinking from a big kid cup, and getting the hang of using silverware.

The little guy is growing up pretty fast!
